With over 22 years experience Deryk provides expert consultancy in the specialist areas of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and in the strategic operation of road networks, particularly through the use of traffic management technologies and traveller information services. Deryk has worked in both private and public sectors and was formally employed by NZTA to advance the strategic implementation of ITS nationally within New Zealand.
Deryk is the Director of AraFlow Ltd, offering specialist ITS consultancy ranging from strategic operational planning to specific project management services. AraFlow Ltd also offers clients a variety of real time and historical traffic information, delivered as a service. This is particularly aimed at supporting roads agencies to be able to cost effectively measure road network performance and optimise their real time operational management of traffic.
